“Karma Without Rebirth: A Buddhist Theological Eundaimonism”

Amod Lele is Associate Director of the Ethics Institute at Northeastern University. He received his PhD in religious studies from Harvard University, focused on the ethics of Śāntideva, and his MS in development sociology and government from Cornell University. He has published multiple articles in the Journal of Buddhist Ethics including "Disengaged Buddhism" and "The metaphysical basis of Śāntideva's ethics", and published on Indian politics in Asian Studies Review. He has taught in the philosophy department at Boston University and in the religion departments at Harvard University, Colorado College, and Stonehill College. His weekly blog in cross-cultural philosophy, Love of All Wisdom, has been active for over fifteen years (and is now also on Substack), and he co-manages the Indian Philosophy Blog.
